Competent Cleaners will pick up your oriental rug from your home in the North West of the UK (including Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales, and Staffordshire), clean it in our state of the art plant and deliver it back to you. Our rug collection and delivery service is free of charge. We also offer a comprehensive inspection and repair service for your oriental rugs. When the item arrives it will be pre-inspected and a written report drawn up for you outlining any weaknesses or limitations in the cleaning process (because of staining, etc.) as well as our recommendations and likely costs.
Rugs must be completely free of dirt, soil, grit, dust, dust mites, and dust mite carcasses before the cleaning process is even considered. We use state of the art dusting machinery that gently vibrates up to 2000 times per second to remove all foreign matter from the rug. Our approach to cleaning oriental rugs combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology. Using patented tools and equipment designed specifically for cleaning oriental rugs, our unique system uses air and water to provide the most thorough and effective, yet gentle cleaning. It's powerfully soft on your precious textiles.
For rugs that cannot be moved, or that you prefer to keep at home, we have adapted an on-site method of cleaning. However you should bear in mind that this does not give such thorough cleaning as can be carried out at our plant. We pre-vacuum the rug to remove as much loose dirt as possible, then gently clean the surface of the rug to removing surface dirt. We will spot clean any stains or marks that may be found, then hand clean any fringes and relay the pile, leaving the carpet to dry naturally on your floor. For rugs that are on sensitive flooring we will place protective covering under the rug to avoid potential problems.
